VRC's "Baby Ducks" win Squash Canada award

No one was more surprised with Squash Canada's choice for the "Spirit Award" than team captain Dan Cerny: "We just go out there night after night and give it our all and then we like to have a group steam and to get our drink on. Nothing complicated." Dan, whose father invented the game of squash, was quick to point out that the win was a team effort: "Everyone, from our team mascot, Tee-Roy, right through to our social director, Swerve, and MVP "The Beav", played a big part in getting us this award, but I really think it was our suave, bowling-esque, team uniforms that got us the title."

Congrats again to The Vancouver Squash League's own Divison 3 "Baby Ducks".

L-R: Mr. George Hadjipavlou, Mr. Jeffrey Harnum, Team Mascot Mr. Troy Brown, Mr. Dan Cerny (Captain), Mr. Bevan Moss, Mr. Mike Neilson, Mr. Robert Pacey and Mr. John "Swerve" Irving.
